CURRICULUM: Ing. Gerardo Paredes Has been involved in the real estate business during the last 18 years, being co-founder and co-owner of “HBI Paredes Asesores, S.A. de C.V”, “Global Commercial & Investment Real Estate Corporation de México S.A. de C.V.”, “Global Commercial & Investment Real Estate del Valle de México S.A. de C.V.”, “Promotora de Oficinas Santa Lucia S.A. de C.V.”, “Inmobiliaria Urba S.A. de C.V.”, ” Napa Inmuebles S.A. de C.V.”, “Subasterra S. de R.L. de C.V.”, and Sheldon Good de México S. de R.L. de C.V”.   Obtained a bachelors degree in Food Engineering from the Monterrey Institute of Technology in 1976, Graduated from the University of California at Davis in 1980, where he completed the Master in Science program awarded by the Department of Food Science and Technology.   Has participated in various companies, first as an employee, working for “Grupo Gentor” (a diversified industrial and commercial group), and the mexican brewery “Cerveceria Cuauhtemoc”, and later owned and operated several businesses.

As a real estate advisor, has been involved sales and leases of numerous Industrial, commercial & office buildings, as well as some residential lots & homes and developed and undeveloped land for resorts and hotels in different mexican beaches and major business cities.

  Active member of “AMPI” (Mexican Association of Real Estate Professionals), being member of the board during the years 2000 and 2001, and Treasurer for the years 2002 and 2003, of the Monterrey Chapter, and “FIABCI” (The International Real Estate Federation), being the President of its Mexico National Chapter for the year 2007.

  In january of 2004 obtained the “CHB” (Certified Hotel Broker) designation, which requires various courses in the U.S.A., and experience in the sale of hotel properties. This certification is backed by The Cornell University, and was the first mexican to obtain it.

  Lecturer invited in world-wide congresses: “FIABCI Barcelona 2007”, Annual Congress “Texas Asociation of Realtors” 2007, FIABCI “Las Americas” Panama 2007. Speaker in world-wide committees “FIABCI 2007” in Geneva, Switzerland and “FIABCI 2008” in Ámsterdam, Holland. He has represented Mexico in real estate exhibitions such as, “MIPIM 2007” in Cannes, France and “Real Expo 2007” in Munich, Germany. He was representate and speaker  of “HBI” (Brokers Hotel the International) in Rome, Italy in the 2007
